Dear Marion,
with a little delay because of several small problems on arrival back in our home, I want to sent you this mail with our holiday experience at La Palma.
As mentioned in our previous mail, the holiday house Casa La Herminia was just perfect. Our children swam almost every day and it was a good starting place for several trips we made in the North of the Island. We already promoted this house to some friends of ours, including Canary Company as a very reliable organisation.
Also the second house (Casa La Tortugas) was a very nice place to stay. We also got the wireless internet working, so it will probably we available for the next visitors as well. We had a small problem that the water run out, but herr Diezmann fixed it without any problems. The water level of one of the water-reserve tanks was to low. The garden of this house as well as the scenery was breathtaking.
You were right about the rental car, we just had to deliver the car-keys at the airport and no questions were asked. They even did not take a look at the car. That was surprising to us, because at every other country where we rented a car, they were very suspicious when we brought back the car. But at La Palma probably everybody thinks positively on how people treat rental cars. That\'s how it should be. I just looked on the Canarycompany internet site, because I thought we had rented a car of Category D. On arrival we received a Opel Meriva 1.6 Enjoy, which is in the list of Category F, so they probably gave us a more expensive car during our stay.
We are very enthousiastic and show everybody the beautifull pictures of the Island.
We can look back on this holiday as one of the most beautifull we have ever experienced. I think we will probably go back to La Palma in the future and hope that we can still contact you again for the reservations. Thank you again for everything you have done for us to make this holiday something we will remember forever!
