The archipelago of the Canary Islands, consisting of 7 main islands, is a year-round recommended destination for the whole family. The islands are the southernmost holiday destination of Europe and offer its whole advantages such as security, Tradition, eating habits and living standards. On the Canary Islands reign a temperate climate and the sun shines on almost all days of the year at least for a few hours! The islands themselves are very different from each other, don’t be wrong! Someone, for example, who spent once his holiday on the island of
Lanzarote, would certainly be surprised in a cottage on the island of
La Palma about how green and mountainous this island is!
Tenerife and
Gran Canaria, which are also simultaneously the parent administrative capitals for the smaller islands, have something to offer for everyone.
Tenerife is thus the "Capital" for La Palma,
La Gomera and El Hierro, while Gran Canaria is responsible for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. La Palma and La Gomera islands are also known as hiking islands. There is an extensive Hiker's network with well developed and clearly signposted paths of lighter to very serious hiking.
El Hierro has the reputation of a Divers Paradise and it’s at the same time the smallest island of the Canary Islands.
Windsurfing, kitesurfing and any kind of water sports are capitalized on the windy beaches of Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. The most beautiful flat beaches in brilliant white you will surely find on the Island of
Fuerteventura, and Tenerife is a perfect all-rounder and offers a bit of everything. All the islands are alike with the same easy going generous mentality of the locals. These are always in a good mood and always welcome visitors. A comfortable holiday home is the best residence to get to know Country + people directly and better. It will also support local families and the result is a individual holiday which not quickly will be forgotten!
Many thanks and many greetings
